Pichulik x AAKS Collaboration

I’m so excited to share with you our latest collaboration with my longtime friend Pichulik.

Katherine and I first met at my home in Kumasi, Ghana where she flew over from Cape Town in 2015 to share the parallels of our craft and what it means to be an African designer.

PICHULIK X AAKS collaboration began development in 2023, after many years in the making. Three distinctive bags were created, using a colour palette inspired by the Kejetia market here in Kumasi, Ghana.

The collaboration celebrates the DNA of both our brands, with the AAKS design philosophy conserving weaving as an art form, and the silhouettes embellished with Pichulik’s language of sculptural polished brass, reimagined ropes and sacred knots ❤️

I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. You can shop our collaboration via Pichulik’s website linked here.
